God Has Not Forgot

So the chief cupbearer told Joseph his dream. He said to him, "In my dream I saw a vine in front of me, and on the vine were three branches. As soon as it budded, it blossomed, and its clusters ripened into grapes. Pharaoh's cup was in my hand, and I took the grapes, squeezed them into Pharaoh's cup and put the cup in his hand." "This is what it means," Joseph said to him. "The Three branches are three days. Within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your position, and you will put Pharaoh's cup in his hand, just as you used to do when you were his cupbearer. But when all goes well with you, remember me and show me kindness; mention me to Pharaoh and get me out of this prison.

Sitting in church today, I heard a very clear word...God has not forgot. Tonex (@BSLADE) did a song a while back by that name. As I sat hearing Pastor minister on the promises of God, and the 21 day corporate fast, it was clear that God is about to do some new stuff in our lives.

Most of you know the story of Joseph. I love the story because I can very much relate to him. He had a dream, and he interpreted dreams. As he was stuck in jail, he had to have asked God.."are you sure?" I mean, God said he would rule others...yet he was in jail. He must have trusted God to have been able to wait so long.

We all know eventually the prophecy was fulfilled, but today I want to focus on the cupbearer. He came o Joseph...also in bondage...and asked him to interpret what God had shown him. The interpretation was clear...he would get back to where he was before his captivity. Joseph gave him a great answer (much better than the Baker lol) and Joseph asked one small favor...."hook me up when you get to your dream". (I Feel God). He would see his dream come to pass, and Joseph would see he own. Simple right?

Before I get to those of you that have waited patiently, but have not seen your dream manifest...I need to teach a bit about how our dream are all connected. I believe too often we get so caught up chasing our dream,...we miss Go trying to use us to help someone to theirs. Joseph understood this. He did not choose to ignore the chance to minister to someone else's dream, because his was taking too long. No....he continued to walk in his calling. I could hang out there longer but.....

Now to you...my fellow dreamers that know what God showed you, but wonder why its taking so long...or even if it was ever really a dream from God or not. I did not spend much time on Josephs story, but all kinds of attacks came between the promise and the provision. Yes God. But, something inside him said....wait.

So I speak to you today....wait. You may have even forgotten trying details of your dream...your not manifested destiny, but God has not forgotten. Pastor JB Whitfield. (Http://agapefaith.com) Tearfully shared with us how he dreamt of a Dream center to minister to the needs of the homeless and less fortunate. That was 26 years ago. Today....it is so. God did not forget.

God has not forgot. Wait.

Awesome message by Pastor and awesome reminder to wait. Some of us may even need to be reminded of what our dream was in order to produce the passion to wait...so glad our God is a God of 2nd chances.

thanks for sharing!!

Thanks Debra! Yes...reminding does give us that renewed passion we need complete or as pastor was saying last year, "finish strong". Word also says, "he that has begun a good work in you is able to perform it..."
